Delhi To Host IND-SA, Guwahati To Host Maiden Test: BCCI Releases 2025 Home Season Schedule For ICT
Guwahati is also set to host its maiden Test match in the upcoiming season, with South Africa and India playing their second scheduled Test there.
The Indian Men’s Cricket Team’s schedule for the 2025 home season is officially out, as the BCCI announced encounters against West Indies and South Africa across all formats here at home this upcoming year.
As per the BCCI’s announcement, the Men in Blue’s home season will commence with the IDFC First Bank Test series against West Indies, starting on 2nd October 2025 in Ahmedabad. The second and final Test of the series will be held in Kolkata from 10th October.

Following the West Indies series, India will host South Africa, in a series across all three formats.
First, a two-match Test series will kick off South Africa’s tour of India, one that will be historic as it will witness Guwahati set to host its maiden Test match.
The Test series will begin in New Delhi on 14th November, with Guwahati hosting the second Test on 22nd November.
Then, India and South Africa will battle it out in a three-match ODI series and a five-match T20I series in December, with the final taking place in Ahmedabad.
