Happy birthday, Drake!
On Tuesday, Oct. 24, Drake’s 37th birthday, Dave’s Hot Chicken is showering fans with the gift of free food.
Dave's Hot Chicken, which is famous for its hot chicken sliders and tenders, started out as a pop-up in East Hollywood six years ago. Drake discovered the restaurant in 2021, and became one of its biggest investors. The chain has since opened locations across the country.
Now the rapper is celebrating his big day by doling out free chicken sliders at all participating Dave’s Hot Chicken locations. Hungry fans will just need to scan their Dave’s Hot Chicken app in-person, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., local time. (The deal doesn't apply to online orders, or through third-party delivery services like UberEats or DoorDash.)

Dave's Hot Chicken sliders feature a piece of fried chicken with your choice of spice level. They're served on a potato bun with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave's sauce.
“[Drake is] our most famous investor and the fact that he wants to give something back to fans by letting everyone try Dave’s Hot Chicken on him, that says it all," Bill Phelps, Dave’s Hot Chicken’s CEO, said in the press release.
This is the second year in a row that Dave’s Hot Chicken has doled out free food in honor of his big day. Back in April, Dave’s Hot Chicken celebrated its sixth year in business by offering free sliders, too.

In the video, Adonis wears a basketball jersey and raps while shooting hoops with his friends and drawing on a whiteboard. Drake even pops into the video for a cameo. Drake shares his son with French artist Sophie Brussaux.
"Happy birthday my son...MY MAN FREESTYLE OUT NOW," Drake wrote in his Instagram caption.
